Just grab netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu-installer.tar.gz from netscape ftp site...and untar it..run the script...thats it for me...on Suse 7.0. The install from the net didn't work.
For all those that want the most reliable way to install Netscape 6 go to: ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/netscape6/english/6.0/unix/linux22/sea/ and download: netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu-sea.tar.gz This has everything including Java and is approx 29 MB. I never got the network installer to finish on 6.4 or 7.0 but this installed beautifully. As far as usage goes, it has crashed on a couple of sites I normally don't have a problem with 4.76. However, on the sites that it does work with, it works great, including Java. Greg
