Hi all,
If it runs on a Mac, which is OS-X (Darwin), can it be made to run on OpenSUSE too??
Hi,
The OS X provides some propritery technologies, which are not available in Linux (eg. Quartz, Cocoa, ...). Afaik theres nothing like wine for Windows (OSS implementation of the Windows API).
You should run the apps in some virtual machine, but you'll probably need a two licences to OS X (IANAL).
There are also some emulators of Mac OS and many of them runs on Linux. You should check this list [http://www.macwindows.com/emulator.html#Maconother]
The PearPC package is available for OpenSUSE in BuildService [http://software.opensuse.org/search?p=1&q=pearpc&baseproject=openSUSE%3A10.3].

You can run Mac OSX 10.4 (tiger) and 10.5 (Lepoard) in vmware on Opensuse 10.3. Get the iso intel/amd from JAS (bittorrent) and install in vmware - works great!!
