[SLE] thhpd

I have just placed my linux box at an ISP for colocation. The host address for the moment is acme.celticweb.com I executed sbin/init.d/apache stop There should be no web server! But there is! I think thttpd is what is running. I would like to be running apache instead. How do I find where thttpd starts, why it's there, etc. Should I remove it?
