I often hear people complain about the terrible fonts for netscape and then the reply is (often enough) to use true-type fonts instead. In case you do not want true-type fonts though, there is an excellent set of fonts built specifically for Netscape that intentionally mimic the fonts that Netscape for windows uses. The set of fonts includes Times, Helvetica and Courier.
How did you get these to work? I have compiled and installed them in /usr/local/lib/fonts/Mozilla and then added the path to the xfsft config file. Is a choice suppose to be present in the list of fonts netscape will use? Thanks for any help?
