Dear suse users:
I have some problems using yast installation system. My problems are:
1. I can't find kamix if I search for it. However I checked the ftp site and kamix is among the packages there (in SL-10.0-OSS/ inst-source/suse/i586/). Why is it not shown in yast?
2. I would like to downgrade qt3-3.3.5 to qt3-3.3.4. But yast shows only 3.3.5 even in the version window.
Currently my install sources are set up like this, in this order, all of them are enabled, refreshing is enabled for all too:
1. ftp.novell.hu/pub/mirrors/ftp.opensuse.org/opensuse/ distribution/SL-10.0-OSS/inst-source/
2. ftp.novell.hu/pub/mirrors/ftp.opensuse.org/opensuse/ distribution/SL-10.0-OSS/inst-source-java/
3. ftp.novell.hu/pub/mirrors/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/10.0/SUSE- Linux10.0-GM-Extra/
4. ftp.novell.hu/pub/mirrors/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/ supplementary/KDE/update_for_10.0/yast-source/
5. ftp.novell.hu/ pub/mirrors/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/ supplementary/GNOME/update_for_10.0/yast-source/
6. packman.inode.at/suse/10.0/
In the last line there is the suse evaluation DVD but that is disabled.
I use almost the same repo`s (different mirrors) and kamix shows up in YaST for me. Try using the search in YaST and only use mix for the search word and see what shows up. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998
