Hello
I'm having a miserable time upgrading to opensuse 11.2
Anyone know why the masquarading doesn't work or how I can fix it?
/usr/sbin/iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth1 -j MASQUERADE
This seems to have no impact on optables
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination
Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination
Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination
Is the above the output from "iptables --list -t nat" after you added the masquerade rule?
/Per
Yeah sorry about that Chain PREROUTING (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination Chain POSTROUTING (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination MASQUERADE all -- anywhere anywhere MASQUERADE all -- anywhere anywhere MASQUERADE all -- anywhere anywhere MASQUERADE all -- anywhere anywhere MASQUERADE all -- anywhere anywhere Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination FWIW eth0 is the external network card and eth1 is the internal
