You responded to me privately instead of to the mailing list, so here's your message quoted (and hoping it'll work): On Wednesday, 26 July 2017 16:56:55 CEST Christopher Myers wrote:
Nope, I'd tried it the first couple of times, but kept hitting the same roadblocks of "no boot without the DVD" so I gave up on that to try to get as close to simple vanilla as possible to see if that helped.

Are you using full-disk encryption?

I think I encountered this briefly as well. Assuming you've read the bug report I linked you, can you try rebuilding the partition table? A Live CD with GParted on it should do. Make sure to choose GPT instead of MBR. After you've done that, your install _should_ go smoothly. I haven't the faintest idea why, but that did it for me when I thought I was going mad. No guarantees though. -- Carmen Bianca Bakker <carmen@carmenbianca.eu> PGP: 2A09 F627 39F6 DEC8 CFFC A216 CD0A 90F1 C5CA 0C92
