I have been having some challenges downloading large files such as DVD iso > 2 GB. Using Firefox is almost an invitation to disaster although I have been succesful on some and this isn't a 2.1 GB file size limitation. I check all downloads against the published MD5SUM from the download source. I usually have to fall back to using wget and getting the file download that way, which works. The other issue I am seeing is that on downloads from SMB sources (another Linux box samba share) using konquerer, the file will download to 100% and never finish, just sits there at 100%, not on all DVD iso's but some. In those cases, I have resorted to an FTP get which works without fail. Note, that I am able to work around the problems but the work around takes a bit more effort (and time) to implement. This is all on SuSE 10.0 Retail. Anyone else noticed these problems or have any suggestions? TIA Clint
