I *think* that the bug is fixed, or rather checked for, by kernel version 2.4.18; making mem=nopentium redundant. It should simply ignore it rather than acting badly though; maybe you should report this to feedback@suse.com -- If a group of _N persons implements a COBOL compiler, there will be _N-1 passes.
