Nope , if you have some spare network cards , oinstall them , then copy the first cd to you hard drive , reboot with the install disk and chose install from a directry. That will install the basic services. The isntall will croak when ti gets to the other diskes. simmly reboot , and copy the next cd , then restart the insytall. Or install the network cards , then choose network install and piont it to any server wiyth a cdrom drive. That way you can swap out the cds. You will need the machines ip and cdrom path. Thirdly , just rip out a cdrom and plug it in for the install then remove it. At 02:53 PM 6/27/1999 -0400, mrushton wrote:
Is there a way to put SUSE on floppies to install on a PC that does not have a CD ROM ????
Have enough parts from my old 486 to put together another PC. I got a case at a Computer show for $17.00. The parts I have should be working and not in a box under my bed. ;-)
