Excellent question--the file was generated by Sax2. If I edit it manually, it'll get trashed, no?
Only if you run Sax2 again. I'm running a hand edited XF86Config file, as I've found it's the only way to get my Wacom tablet, PS2 mouse and ancient Logitech serial cordless working correctly together. I used Sax2 to get the basics right, then hacked away until everything was working correctly. Keep a copy of the file, so your changes are preserved. I've noticed Sax2 names it's mice like this - mouse[1] mouse[3] mouse[5] etc. It's only a name and you can edit it if you don't like it, but you need to ensure references further down the file are changed, too.
