Does this mean you have to recompile the kernel? I've got one of those Tekram cards at work, in a Compaq, and if I can ever get it to accept a second hard drive, I will try and install 7.1 on it on the second drive. I have a Jaz on the scsi card that I'd like to access. TIA, --doug At 22:51 03/17/2001 -0800, you wrote:

Did you enable the first option for beta drivers?
Also, if this is a Kernel from standard sources it will not have it.
Finally, yes you can get it from Tekream, and also from SuSE. Try Tekram first as I cannot remember where on SuSE you can get it, but the Tekram site will link it in.

Greetings!
I'm SuSE 6.3 as a base installation with the updated software needed for the standard 2.2.4 kernel. I noticed that the driver for the Tekram DC-315U SCSI card is no longer in the kernel as it was for the 2.2.x series. The DC-390 driver does not work for the DC-315U. I checked the Tekram website for info on the DC-315U chipset (TRM-S1040) but I can't find the corresponding driver in the 2.2.4 kernel. What driver should I be using? Is the driver from the Tekram website compatible with the 2.2.4 kernel?
Thanks!
