Might be something with this: --- printer.c: Disabling reads from problem bidirectional printer on usblp0 printer.c: usblp0: USB Unidirectional printer dev 2 if 0 alt 1 hub.c: already running port 2 disabled by hub (EMI?), re-enabling... usb.c: USB disconnect on device 2 --- Try to change the port on the USB hub you are using. It could also be a problem with your printer. I believe you would be better off using the 2.4.x kernel with USB instead of the 2.2.19.
