In Leap422, we have reverted to the earlier policy of no ipv6
privacy. What does this say:
cat /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/*/use_tempaddr
It's 2 for the Ethernet port and 1 for WiFi. So both ought to be getting the a random address, but only the ethernet port will use it. But you're not getting any random address? Looking at my leap422 test server, I have the random addresses.
I also have 42.2 in a virtual machine. It shows 1 and has both MAC and privacy addresses.
So it's just your wifi that doesn't get the random address? Perhaps a NetworkManager issue? -- Per Jessen, Zürich (3.4°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - dedicated server rental in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
