I've used it successfully before too. That doesn't mean it's problem-free.

If you'd said that you thought it was a bug when I originally asked the question I'd have reported it. But now the partition is otherwise occupied. Incidentally that wiki page starts out by saying it's not for me. It says it is for testers of development releases - you might want to reword that.
