I have been running every other release of suse since 6.4 and the quality, stability and language support for Swedish (my natural language) has improved ever since but the step from 9.2 to 9.3 broke that trend. It's not bad compared to others but compared to previous releases of SuSE it was a dissapointment. It felt like the hardware support compared to 9.2 was worse and some of the Yast modules had annoying bugs in them. I ran every release between 8 and 9.3 on the same laptop and the 9.2 release worked best for me. Now that I bought a new laptop I didn't want to go as far back as 9.2 and my experience with 9.3 wasn't so good so I gave 10.0-RC1 a shot. And so far all I can say is that SuSE is back on track. I know there is a lot of stuff to be translated to Swedish but that is such a small language so I won't complain but the hardware support and stability is far better than 9.3 2005/9/21, Magnus Boman <mboman@novell.com>:
What was the disappointment? I've been running 9.3 on my laptop since it was release and I've been happy with it.

I bought a new laptop last week and didn't even consider installing 9.3. I installed 10.0 RC1 and so far it works better than 9.3. I don't know if I'll have to reinstall once 10.0 stable gets released but as said before installing 9.3 wasn't even considered.
RC1 means it is unfinished. I would never run an RC1 on a system
2005/9/21, Pal, Laszlo <laszlo.pal@eds.com>: that needs to stay up. Either run 9.3 or wait or if your system is runnming now and does what you want it to do, stick with that.
9.3 is sux... It looks like 10RC or Super10 RC is better choice
