Hello:
I would like to download (not to install) screengrab xpi with seamonkey web browser because I want to have the xpi file with its original name locally.
When I visit the download page
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/screengrab-fix-version/versio ns/?page=1#version-0.99.12
with my seamonkey web browser I cannot find any download link to the xpi files. I see only big green buttons with the message "Only with Firefox — Get Firefox Now!", and these buttons direct me to firefox download page.
What I want is to save the xpi for later use. Why doesn't the addons page allow the download of the xpi files with different browsers? How can I find out the xpi download links?
Thanks,
Istvan
Sorry for sending my answer accidentally to your address directly. I resend it to the list. Thanks for your reply, even it's unhelpful.

I agree with this. Who should be the addressee?
And saving xpi files for later, IMHO is useless, given the fact that in browser/add-on land things are moving quickly.
This is your opinion, my experience is different. (Furthermore the question was not if it is useful or not saving and xpi but how to do it.)
And, google replies to "download firefox xpi files" with this as a top result: https://support.mozilla.org/nl/questions/961164
Which is absolutely useless, as in my case the right click save link target saves an html page. Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
