It obviously depends on the infrastructure etc, but that's a factor 33 difference.
---- If you had measured something down under 1%, that would expected as IPv6 has larger headers. But 33x?! Sounds like you have no direct IPv6 connectivity and things are being badly routed through V4 gateways.
Nope, we have our own /56 and a 100MBit/s fibre upstream.
That was exactly why it was recommended to prefer an IPv4 route over IPv6 route last year -- because people had local IPv6 "connectivity" be were really being routed over 6-in-IPv4 tunnels to other isolated pockets where it was unpacked...Maybe you are getting routed through someone's home router? ;-)
It is a bit weird - last night, I got virtually the same throughput on ipv4 and ipv6 (for suse.uni-leipzig.de), but now it's back to the abysmal numbers above. For other sites, e.g. ftp5.gwdg.de, the throughput is normal.
