Anyone out-there know how to program modules for 6.3?
I have an ESS ES1978S SoundCard for a Toshiba 2065CDS Laptop and the Toshiba Modem that comes with it that i can't configure.
a) Have you tried the ALSA Project? The ALSA Project has support for a suprisingly wide range of hardware, including lots of ESS chipsets. With the alsaconf script, you may be able to `auto-detect' a proper module for your sound chipset. b) AFAIK, Toshiba sells almost exclusively WinModems. In other words: buy a new modem. -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
