Folks, I am still trying to figure this one out. With a small home office serviced by a hardware/software router using DHCP whether I have internet access or not (isolated network) I ought to be able to resolve hostnames to DHCP generated dynamic IP addresses. Seems like going to an outside registry is overkill and unnecessary. How does one set this up? Do I need a DNS service running on the router? Any ideas? Thanks again.
