It was a one time payment fairly priced and got my printer working perfectly till I ditched it for a laser from hp. I forget the name of the drivers, could be "turboprint", but I don't remember. And I don't know if they are still doing support for newer Canon printers. I refused later to buy a Canon camera for that reason, even though they are good cameras. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
