That happened at the end of the process, using K3B. Result: Failed.
Next i tried with a new disc but tried with the "Simulate" option and get a lot more:

Result: Success (according to K3B)
Anybody seen this?, can it be a hardware problem?, K3B?, kernel?.
Ciro
What is wodim/growisofs returning? On failing to burn a DVD/CD you will get some more meaningful error codes.
There is a rather useful article on PCBurn on Growisofs write errors.
http://pcburn.com/article.php?sid=2127
which may help...
I just get a "Failed" message in k3b
There is a details tab. This will give you a clue to the command that K3B generated (and some of the error messages) but it is not brilliantly informative. Then try running the command on the command line and see what you get. K3B is effectively a GUI interface for generation of mkisofs, cdrecord and growisofs commands, and to analyse CD/DVD burner issues it is best use these tools directly from the command line. You do not state whether you are using DVD+ or DVD- format disks. These have somewhat different characteristics.
