I am looking at Dell Vostro 1014. I imagine that the 1150 v8.40.4 driver should work, because that is what is called out the openSuSE compatibility pages. My point (see above) is that the 1150 is missing from the ATI driver site. Since the Vostro is a relatively new line, it cannot be that the driver is obsolete and unsupported.
I just looked it up, and unfortunately it isn't an ATI graphics card. It's a new intel graphics model. I don't know if it's supported in 3d or not. Sorry..
