I got Illustrator 8.0 and Dreamweaver MX working perfectly with the following:
cd ~/cxoffice/support/dotwine/fake_windows/Program\ Files/Macromedia/Dreamweaver\ MX ~/cxoffice/bin/wine Dreamweaver.exe
My question is, how can I make this into a script so that I can place a shortcut or script on my desktop rather than typing this in all the time? A step-by-step would be nice.
HEY, WAIT WAIT WAIT A MINUTE!!! You've got Illustrator working in wine????? I really want the details on how you did this !!! I tried just sort of randomly to get Illustrator running and it looked like it was almost going to run. I think I need a lot of .dll libraries. So how could I get a summary of what you did or some notes?? Which version of wine? Which libraries? Anything else?? Did you mean to post this on linux-sxs.org?
