When I first installed 11.1 on that system, I chose "other" and "KDE3" as the Window manager. However, when it first booted, I ended up in GNOME for some reason.
When I log out, I'm dropped into a GNOME-like screen with the options to shutdown or login.
Now that I think about it, I remember something about using KDM as my display manager.
Where do I set that?
On 11.0 I used mc to search files * containing kdm and found 'DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm3"' in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager. I'll bet 11.1 didn't change that. -- "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6 NIV Team OS/2 ** Reg.
