From: Ronald Wiplinger [mailto:ronald@elmit.com] Starting httpd [SuSEHelp PHP4 mod_perl Jserv LDAP contrib backhand SAP_fastcgi ] /etc/rc.d/apache: line 286: 5287 > Segmentation fault $HTTPD_BIN $INET6 -t -f /etc/httpd/httpd.conf $MODULES >/var/log/httpd/rcappache.log
I have a had a couple cases when messing around with the config for apache that I add something, stop and start apache and I get a segmentation violation. I then I remove my added lines and stop and start apache and STILL get the seg vio. I then reboot the whole server and it comes up just fine. Sorry no real details or solutions, but it may be worth a reboot if you are able. Does Apache load any modules into memory that would stay there if the core Apache was stopped? Greg Engel
