I have set up NFS Client on this machine, and it sees directories in the server of another machine.
For convenience, I want to set up a server also (the other machine has both server and client). but see no icon in YaST for NFS Server, as I have seen in the past. I have found a procedure (on Source Forge) for doing this from the command line, but I am curious if the absence of an icon is a malfunction or an innovation in v11,3.
If the absence is intended, does anyone know what, if anything, is the logic behind it?
You perhaps haven't downloaded the packages? Specifically I think yast2-nfs-server and maybe nfs-kernel-server Or you can choose the pattern view in yast and select the file server pattern (I'm looking at 11.2 but I think 11.3 is the same) Cheers, Dave -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
