Hi all, I'm in charge of a Linux mail/web/app server at the company I work for. Every time I check the system log, I see unauthorized attempts to logon to the ftp server from dial-up or ISDN hosts. I'd like to reject network connections from these domains (not from the hosts, since they have dinamic ip addresses; I want to block the domains). How can I do it? OS is SuSE 7.2 Pro ftp server is ProFTPD Server is secured in most ways: disabled unecesary logins, hardened permissions, no telnet server (SSH rules!), no anonymous/root login for ftp, etc. Thanks for your time and attention -- Oscar Ross ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "... así, al final, solo amaremos lo que comprendamos y solo comprenderemos lo que se nos enseñe." -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
