Another way to make an update

Hi all, I'm using suse 8. I must connect to the internet by windows connection. I have a satelite internet connection. I'm using internet by proxy pointing to the windows machine "x.x.x.x" and port 3128. There is a way to make the update on-line to connect that windows machine e port for ftp? Thanks advanced.
