Yes, you need to start "wine foo.exe"
Er. Since I've never used it before, and haven't installed any programs yet, I'm not sure what to replace the "foo" with. I tried "write.exe", "notepad.exe" and "help.exe" as guesses which in retrospect was rather naive. Basically, I would like to see what I thought wine would look like: a little window with a faux-M$ Windows desktop within it. Is this simply wrong? I have a copy of win4lin which I have to install. Perhaps that's the way to go. But I thought wine would at least give me something pretty to look at in the meantime! Thanks for the help, Nick
