The easiest rpm tool I've found for the X Window System is glint, it's
totally GUI and works well.
Grant Crawley.
I installet xrpm and used it to get netscape off of a cheapbytes disk, so it seems compatable to me. Easy even. But I had to hunt it to install it.

Is there a control panel or other way to do rpms in SuSE.. The guiier the better. I need to get netscape communicator off of my cheapbyted cd into suse.

I guess there's a X-based front end to rpm, but I haven't used it. If you want to just install an rpm, open up an xterm and cd to whereever the rpm is and type rpm -ivh filename.rpm, where the -ivh means install, verbose, display # signs as a progress indicator. Pretty straightfoward. However, I have a question that I posted earlier which was never answered: are redhat rpms and suse rpms compatible?
Luck and thanks
