I have a Laptop here with a WiFi and an ethernet card. Both work flawlessly… if I remove IPV6. I removed IPV6 in YaST's Network Pane. Unfortunately this setting is only considered with the ethernet interface. When activating the wireless interface, 'dhclient' is run. And dhclient somehow always runs with IPV6. If I bring up the wireless interface manually, which allows me to replace dhclient with 'dhcpcd' instead of dhclient, everything works. What else than IPV6 could be the problem?
I am confused. How did you come to the conclusion that IPv6 is the problem? What steps did you take? What did you try that *didn't* work? Mike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
