I don't remember, last time I did that was 2 years ago at least. IIRC I created a filesystem, but what I did not do was repeat the test with several filesystem types. Next time I buy a disk and I'm not on a hurry I'll do it :-) Hum, I found one of those tests. 9 Oct 2005. I used ext3, and the disk was 160GB. Wow, I found another test I did on 03 Dec 2009. I even made a graph! <http://susepaste.org/51338135> I found the data I tabulated, but not the script I used - I don't even know the name I used for it. I would have to search the entire disk for bash scripts, and then search all those inside for a recognizable string... that's a feature mc could have but it does not have.
