Hi,
I had problems with font also. On certain size, they're not renderred
well (too big, ziggy). But once I upgrade xfree86 to 4.2, all fonts
are looked good. Could not guarantee it'll solve your problem, but
you may want to try..

Hi,
I have just installed SuSE 7.2 on my Dell Inspiron Laptop. SuSE reconised all the hardware (impressive), and all seams to work fine.
But there is something wrong with my Fonts in both KDE and Gnome, that I can't put my finger on. They look too big, for instance a 10 Point font looks like a 14-16 point font would do, and if I reduce the size of the font to what I think a 10 point font size should look like, the font is unreadable. All the 'windows' and other things look OK, its just the fonts.
The laptop has an in-built Intel 82815 display adaptor. Is this a driver problem or something in Sax that needs setting differently?
