Big *SIGH*
I'd really like to use Chromium, but lets face it, Firefox has a lot going for it in the way of plugins that do nifty things, and many of them don't exist with Chromium.
I have about 140 tabs in my primary window, about 400 in my secondary window. My primary window has 10 groups with about another 100 tabs spread across them. I might try breaking my secondary window into groups, but there deosn't seem to be a way to simply move groups between windows.
If you know of one that doesn't involve individual copy/paste please let me know.
Groups are wonderful; they let me do work/project focus. Compartmentalization and all that.
The second window lets me open a url without interfering with my work group.
I can't see how to convert this kind of workflow, compartmentalization, to Chromium.
If anyone knows, has suggestions a to the HOW, please let me know.
What 'groups' are you referring to? Do you mean the 'Tab Groups' extension, that continues the functionality previously provided by the default tab groups option that was withdrawn from Firefox? If so, the developer said that the changes coming in FF57 or thereabouts would probably render that extension no longer functional anyway. OTOH, I think it may be that same version of Firefox where this new Container functionality is set to land, which might better provide the kind of configuration you're looking for. I forget whether that's a definite upcoming new feature or just something that's in experimental testing. gumb -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
