I recently switched on Linux (SuSE 6.0) and I'm here to stay - that's for sure. I tried to connect using a KDE tool, very similar to Dial Up Networking, and I also have the option of logging onto network using a terminal window - and everything works smoothly until I see the characters string and I press the "continue" button. In within seconds I get a message saying that "The pppd daemon ended unexpectedly" and I'm disconnected. Can you help me by telling what I should do?
Edit the file /etc/ppp/options and delete the `lock'. And read the kppp help.
