How can I get the latest version of the SuSE packages via ftp? I went to the SuSE ftp site and tried both the 10.0 directory and this one:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/current/SUSE-Linux10.0-GM-Extra
All I found there was a small subset of the packages on the DVD. The 9.3 directory seems to have the full set, but of course it's older.
And a related question: is the correct directory to specify to Yast the one that contains a "media" subdirectory? The listing of mirror sites at SuSE doesn't give the full path that Yast wants.
Paul
Paul, You can use any of the mirrors. Just make sure you add the "inst-source" and "inst-source-java" directories to your yast install sources. Such as: mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS/inst-source-java mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS/inst-source mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/10.0/SUSE-Linux10.0-GM-Extra -- David C.
