Reading through the lppasswd man page, a thought struck me, that was not answered by man.
Let us assume I have setup CUPS and my printer is working.
If I should now "$>lppasswd -a <username>" -a <username>" will my current lppasswd settings be overwritten or will it just mess up my printer install requiring "#>lppasswd -x <username>" and then a "#>lppasswd -a <username>".
This will only change the password and will not affect your current setup. Just remember that you changed it the next time cups asks for it. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989 SuSE since 1998 * Only reply to the list please*
