On the subject of Borland JBuilder 4.0 I found that it needed a minimum of 128 Mb memory to run on Windows, whereas Visual Cafe got by with 64 Mb. Does anybody know whether there is a Linux version of Visual Cafe? JBuilder runs slow even with 128 Mb.memory on a Pentium 233 Mhz. CPU and Windows.
I've installed it in Win 98 SE on the same box as SuSE 7.0, and it runs very nicely in Windows, almost like a normal program (the Windows way that is). In SuSE it runs a bit nicer in Blackbox than in KDE (128RAM). I don't think Visual Caf is available for Linux, correct me someone if I'm wrong. ei -- @~~ EagleIce ~ gnu4u@linux.nu ~~@ @~~ Running GNU/Linux & KDE ~~@
