Well, I didn't mean to start a dist war. Obviously, I use SuSE because I like SuSE. And while I don't intentionally go around bashing any other dists, my feelings about any other dist aren't relevant or pertinent to this forum. My point was merely that someone affiliated with a distribution, no matter what that affiliation is, should be more cautious with their words concerning other members of the linux community. If I'm on irc, and my host is suse.com, then by God, even if I'm just the janitor at SuSE's offices, I'm going to do my best not to say anything to embarass SuSE. I just found an anti-SuSE comment from someone@somebox.redhat.com twice as insulting as if it were from someone not affiliated with another dist, that's all.

After hanging out on irc channels for quite some time, I believe about 10% of the nicks and domains and everything else I see on irc channels. I usually spend time around the undernet channels. Did I tell you what I heard there the other nite? :) Just kidding. :)) ---------------- Michael E.
