On many UNIX systems, you can enable filec, which fills in the remainder of a filename when you hit the escape key. This doesn't work with the default shell in SuSE. I know that I can use the "*" when enough characters have been entered that the file name is unambiguous, but this is more tedious. Is there an equivalent command in linux for the bsh shell?
