I have let it run all night. It is still going strong. The index is 1.5GB and growing. I checked what files it had open and it does not seem to actually be opening any files to index. Maybe it is in some mode with making the index. I will see what it is up to when I get home from work. As to deleting the db, of course that might work. But it need not actually work as the program might have other state information elsewhere that also needs to go away. No way of knowing. Assuming the db file is the only part of the indexing process would be an assumption. On Thu, Oct 22, 2015 at 10:41 PM, Patrick Shanahan <paka@opensuse.org> wrote:

In addition to letting one select places to ignore, it would be nice if the indexing could be reset so it could start over with only the places one wants indexed.
So stop baloo indexing, destroy the current db and restart baloo with the configuration you desire. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
