I'm running a web site located on an outside server using gFTP to transfer updated web pages. Is there a way to i) have gFTP remember the password to log into the web server, and ii) automatically chmod the upload file to the permissions that it is over writing?

Mike,
I can help with the auto login. Just login to the desired site and then, from the top menu ... Bookmarks - Add Bookmark.
That's it!
Ok, done
Don't know about the chmod issue though.
Definite egg on face for this one, set the permissions on the file as they are on the server, rwx,r_x,r_x. Unfortunately only the owner can modify the file. :( Mike
