Hello to you all,
I'll start out by saying that I'm a complete, total newbie. I decided to give Linux a try because I happen to run windows98 and it crashes and/or freezes regularly, which can be quite annoying. Anyway, I installed the necessary packages yesterday and invoked SaX to configure the X Window System. Everything went fine untill I got to the 'Desktop' menu. There were no resolutions to choose from whatsoever - the list was completely empty. I have an Iiyama Vision Master Pro400 (17") and a Matrox Millenium card. I did notice that in the manual they mention PCI and ISA cards but not AGP. My card happens to be an AGP. Does SaX offer AGP or should I use xf86config? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Please remember that I'm new at this (an understatement!), so don't get too complicated!
