[opensuse] KMail in 13.1

Hi all. So due to KMail issues after OpenSUSE-11.4, I've not been able to get any release since then to have a sane implementation of KMail going. Can anyone provide some feedback on how things are now faring with 13.1? Previous issues have been around the complicated marriage between KMail and Akonadi, among other things. Have these issues been resolved (or changed to something simpler) in 13.1? I'd really like to upgrade to something more current, but ever since 12.1, KMail has just been a disaster.
