Nick, If you're trying to run MS applications, you might want to look into CrossOver Office. It runs MS Office Suite perfectly (at least on my machine...so don't flame me.). I also run a couple non-MS applications as well. It's a pretty sweet program. If I could get Dreamweaver working on it I'd delete my Windows partion. Yes, you need to start "wine foo.exe"
Er. Since I've never used it before, and haven't installed any programs yet, I'm not sure what to replace the "foo" with. I tried "write.exe", "notepad.exe" and "help.exe" as guesses which in retrospect was rather naive. Basically, I would like to see what I thought wine would look like: a little window with a faux-M$ Windows desktop within it. Is this simply wrong?
I have a copy of win4lin which I have to install. Perhaps that's the way to go. But I thought wine would at least give me something pretty to look at in the meantime!
Thanks for the help, Nick
