Hi, I am successfully running a leap 42.1 system with a dual head nvidia graphics card.
I am wanting to add a second dual head nvidia graphics card to my system. I had quick play and 'nvidia-settings' would not 'see' the second card.
Before I trial things further are there any recent 'how to's on setting up dual cards with leap? The only 'how to's I can find are general linux from several years ago...
(I am wanting to install leap 42.2, but decided I would get dual cards running first, so a common solution would be appreciated)
With thanks, H
Are you familiar with the Linux forum at nVidia?
I was unaware of this forum. Googling 'nvidia / linux' combos had not introduced me to it. I am in the wrong timezone to read this thoroughly (will do it later today). My only reservation about the post is the word 'multiseat'. I am after a single seat solution (ie 1 big xscreen) Thankyou. H
I quickly found a post there that discusses Multiseat Ubuntu, not openSUSE, but it's fairly recent:
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/936873/linux/-howto-multiseat-with-...
Just out of curiosity, what's your use case and which cards are you working with?
I am a 'home user' who does all the home type stuff (web. email, TV..). I also spend time in qgis / postgis / apache. I would like all the displays to be on the same xscreen. The cards, like on the devtalk.nvidia post, are GTX 750 Ti. H

Carl
