Well, I thought my touchpad troubles were all solved, and they're certainly much reduced. I have KSynaptics controlling my touchpad now and can turn off the horrid, unpredictable, tapping and scrolling stuff that was causing so many unwanted behaviors. But, I have to start KSynaptics and configure the touchpad every time I log in. That's not so wonderful, obviously. Given that I'm running KSynaptics under Gnome, under SuSE 10.1, how can I get my preferred configuration to be "persistent" or at least have it automatically restored at login?
