Has anyone tried this Linux from Redmond? There is a very laudatory review of it, in terms of ease of installation and use, on line (Linux Today). How does it stack up against SuSE or RedHat or Mandrake?

MSNBC and pcworld had very positive reviews awhile back and I tried it then. It was a very nice, very simple distro for people who may not be very computer literate who wish to come over to Linux. Power users probably would find it too limiting. It follows the KISS methodology: kde only, 1 browser, 1 media player, 1 editor, etc. Their networking was excellent, imho. It automagically found my windows box and other linux boxes. Overall, I'd give it an 8 for newbies. I think there is a niche for a simple distro like this. They've come a long way since they were Redmond Linux yet they still only have 5 employees. Regards, Charles __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
