Just installed 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2) "release 231" and using the Font Installer, I was surprised that when I clicked on the 'System Fonts' or 'Local Fonts' no fonts were shown as installed. I had 4 new fonts to install and after I had installed them, only those fonts were shown. That's not right??
The system know the fonts are there because I had a 5th font that was already installed and the installer properly recognized the duplicates. What to check? File it? novell or bugs.kde?
Let me qualify this issue. If you access font installer as a regular user, you have no fonts. If you log into kde as root, you have all your fonts. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
